3.10. Tricia Tanaka Is Dead - Charlie goes on a road trip with the other guys.
Hurley tells the camp about the van he found in the jungle.

Charlie comes back to camp and sits with Claire.

3.12. Par Avion - Claire thinks she has a way off the island but is annoyed when Charlie won't help her.
FLASHBACK - teenage, goth Claire is in a car accident that seriously injures her mother. On island, Charlie brings Claire breakfast.
["What's gotten into you, Charlie?"]
Des interrupts Charlie and Claire's picnic then Claire sees the birds.
["I know how to get us off this island."]
Claire wants everyone to help her catch the birds but Charlie claims he doesn't see the point. In a FLASHBACK, Claire talks to the police.
["This is not my fault."]
Sun and Jin help Claire set traps for the birds. In a FLASHBACK at the hospital, Claire and her Aunt Lindsey are told Claire's mother, Carole, probably won't ever wake up.
["My mum was a librarian."]
Des scares away the birds and Claire is pissed.
["Where's Charlie? Is he with you?"]
Claire fights with Charlie about Des and the birds. In a FLASHBACK, Christian is visiting Carole but Claire doesn't know who he is.
["I'm your father, Claire."]
Claire tells Sun she's going to get some answers from Desmond. In a FLASHBACK, Claire has coffee with Christian.
["You came here to try and fix a mistake that you made."]
Claire follows Des and demands to know what's going on.
["That's where Charlie died."]
Claire makes up with Charlie then in a FLASHBACK, an older, now blonde and very pregnant Claire says goodbye to her mother.
["I'll see you soon, ok?"]
Charlie reads Claire's letter then they attach it to a bird.
["It's gonna be ok. You're gonna be ok."]

Claire and Charlie witness Nikki and Paulo's funeral.
